#177 - Rupert Lowe - The State Has Become The Enemy

Rupert Lowe joins me to explain why he believes Britain’s state has become too powerful, Parliament has been hollowed out, the private sector is dying, and the country urgently needs a political movement that returns power to the people. In this conversation, Rupert discusses the judiciary, civil service, Parliament, the media, Reform UK, Nigel Farage, Andy Burnham, immigration, welfare, the triple lock, young people, the Green Party, AI, Bitcoin, tax, energy, net zero, HMRC, the City of London and Restore Britain’s plan to rebuild the country. Rupert argues that Britain is no longer governed in the interests of the people who work, build businesses, take risks and contribute. He says the state has become the enemy of the British people, that Britain may no longer have the rule of law and that Restore is trying to create a real plan for national renewal.
